What is an oak framed kit?

An oak framed kit is the structural timber frame, designed, cut and prepared off site, then delivered ready for assembly.

It’s a great option if you:

  • Want a properly made oak frame, without a full turnkey build

  • Have your own builder, or plan to assemble the frame yourself

  • Want flexibility on roofing and finishing

  • Want something bespoke, not mass produced

You can choose supply only, or supply and install
Some clients want a kit delivered with clear drawings and guidance. Others want one team to take it from workshop to standing frame. We can do either.

Our oak framed kit process

1) Tell us what you want to build
A rough idea is enough to start. Size, location, what it needs to do, and the look you like.

2) Design and drawings
We refine the proportions and details, then supply drawings for approval.

3) Making the kit
We cut the timbers, form the joints, label everything clearly, and prepare the kit so assembly makes sense on site.

4) Delivery, with guidance
We’ll arrange delivery and talk you through bases, fixings, and the raising plan.
