The characteristics of the wood used to build a particular product may vary slightly from the wood used in any samples or product photography due to the inherent characteristics of the material.
Wood is a natural material. There will be variation, including knots, texture and grain variations. We can not control or guarantee the exact look of any board or product.
In turn, no representation, warranty and/or guarantee is made with respect to the precise color, lustre or appearance of finishes of any product.

All of Crystal Woods products are treated and sealed with mostly oils to varying degrees which gives good preservation and helps to reduce colour fading.
If finished products are positioned to close to direct heat or in direct sunlight then even pieces that are heavily oiled will be prone to movement, cracking or warping and shrinkage.
As a rule of thumb the best environment for any of Crystal Woods products is in a cool dry place with the ambient temperature not to exceed 20 degrees centigrade.
